Northern NSW Football is proud to announce Southern Lakes United Football Club as our most recent club to have gained Level 1 accreditation in the Football Federation Australia (FFA) National Club Accreditation Scheme.
NNSWF Club Development Officer Phillip Andrews and MiniRoos Officer Stephanie Palmer attended the club’s presentation day to announce the achievement and present a certificate to the club.
Recognition through the National Club Accreditation Scheme is a signal to sponsors, grant providers, club members and the community that Southern Lakes United FC has developed the quality of governance essential for continued growth.
From their level 1 accreditation Southern Lakes United FC can expect:
> Continued guidance from FFA and Member Federations to enhance their football delivery.
> Support for game development including coach education, volunteer development, refereeing and small-sided football.
> Attracting sponsors and volunteers.
> Increasing credibility in the community.
> Priority access to any future funding opportunities.
“Level 1 NCAS Accreditation confirms the wonderful job Southern Lakes United FC is doing in their community to provide opportunities in football which is evident from the strong growth in numbers experienced in 2018. As the club continues to grow, sponsors, members and volunteers can feel confident in the direction that the hardworking committee is driving the club.” Andrews said.
“This football club ensures a positive experience for members and visitors to their venue. It must have been rewarding for the committee to have so many people attend their presentation day on the weekend. We are committed to supporting the committee to further develop the club.”
