Kahibah FC Awarded Newcastle Permanent Club of the Month Award

August 3rd, 2018

Northern NSW Football is pleased to announce Kahibah Football Club, from Macquarie Football, as Newcastle Permanent Club of the Month Winner for July 2018.

Kahibah Football Club was awarded as the winner of the Newcastle Permanent Club of the Month Award due to its significant contribution to the local community through their continued efforts in helping the development of young boys and girls, which includes extensive involvement from their Premier Club players, coaches and technical director, as well as their fantastic support of local charities.

“Kahibah FC has made a significant and valuable contribution to the local community through its successful implementation of junior development, support of local charities, such as Charlie’s Run For Kids, and by generally making a significant contribution to the local football community,” NNSWF Community Football Manager Peter Haynes commented.

“We applaud the efforts of Kahibah Football Club coaches and players which demonstrate that community is integral to the club’s ethos,” Haynes concluded.

Newcastle Permanent CEO, Terry Millett, echoed Haynes’ sentiments and is pleased a local Newcastle Football club has been rewarded for its efforts.

“Newcastle Permanent is committed to supporting great community initiatives and the Club of the Month Award provides us with the opportunity to recognise and reward clubs for the valuable contributions they make to their local area, both on and off the field,” Millett said.

Kahibah Football Club will receive a $250 First Touch Football Supplies gift voucher thanks to Newcastle Permanent that will allow the club to purchase new equipment to continue its efforts in growing the game in the Region.

The Newcastle Permanent Club of the Month Award recognises clubs for contribution to football on and off the playing field across areas including football experience, club activities, coach, volunteer management and special projects.
